Barry grew up in Edmonton Alberta and started his career with a finance company, then quickly moved into the insurance world by joining the London Life Insurance Company.  After two successful years in Edmonton, he was recruited by his brother David to join him in Victoria B.C to set up their own independent insurance brokerage office and thus started “The Wright Brothers” Financial Services. When Barry isn’t in the office with clients, he can be found attempting to lower his high handicap on a golf course during the summer or flying down a ski hill in the winter. Barry and his wife Afton also like to spend a great deal of time with their Lagotto Romagnolo or “truffle dog” Katie by going on long walks or hikes, which often lead them to the ocean and lakes as she is truly an Italian water dog.
